Kidney Bleeding/ Acidosis

This mixture is specifically designed to treat SEVERE KIDNEY TRAUMA such as in bleeding resulting from acidosis or injury. It is to be used for a SHORT PERIOD OF TIME ONLY until the bleeding has stopped and the urine cleared.
The treatment includes the herbs Bistort, Golden Seal, Rosehips, Uva Ursi and Yarrow as well as the Bach Flower Rescue Remedy and it will minimize scarring and damage after such an episode.
Acidosis is only normally found in Racing Greyhounds whose kidneys are placed under stress through over adrenalisation (also through electrolyte abuse) and will not be found in companion dogs under normal circumstances.
For the greyhounds I recommend that, after a course of Kidney Bleeding mix, they continue with the normal Kidney Weakness Mix. After three weeks or so the dog may then return to the Performance Tonic.
