    Osteoporosis Herbal Treatment

Dosage:- 20 drops three times per day.

    100ml for $58.

Osteoporosis is a progressive disease affecting the density of bones making them more likely to fracture.

Bones require not only an adequate supply of the minerals calcium, silica and phosphorus but also in the correct proportions to make them hard and dense. In addition the bones require the correct hormones and adequate Vitamin D to allow the body to absorb the minerals.

After 30 years of age bones slowly start to decrease in density .

Osteoporosis can begin postmenopausal, in old age or as a secondary to other conditions. It occurs twice as often in women than men.

At first there may be no symptoms at all, however once bone density has severely decreased then chronic back pain, spontaneous fractures and curvature of the spine can occur in some sufferers.

One of the most serious fractures that occurs is that of the hip, which is a major cause of disability and lack of independence in the elderly. Wrist fractures are also common.

Unfortunately fractures tend to heal slowly in people with osteoporosis.

On an emotional level the bones represent the structure of the universe and the hips carry us forward in perfect balance .

Are we fearful that there is nothing to move forward to in older age?

The herbal mix for this condition includes Horsetail, Comfrey, Sarsaparillo, Valerian, Burdock, Oats and Chamomile along with the Bach Flowers Oak, Hornbeam, Sweet Chestnut.

To resist the loss of density of bones it is advisable to adjust the diet to include an adequate and balanced intake of minerals (not only calcium) such as Kelp, Parmesan Cheese, Sesame seeds, Parsley, Cabbage, Molasses, Cultured Milk Products and Dandelion Greens and regularly participate in weight bearing activities such as walking and climbing stairs.
