This preparation was originally formulated to treat inflammatory processes of the hoof area including Founder, Pedal Osteitis, Navicular Disease and Sesamoiditis in the fetlock area.
This oil-based treatment is a mixture of herbal oils and extracts which heats and brings circulation to all tissue and bone in the area. It assists with healing both bones and ligament attachments and any other damage, while improving circulation dramatically and reducing inflammation.
The oil is applied sparingly once per day around the coronet, on the hoof itself and also underneath. In animals which are prone to ligament problems it is best to use the oil in conjunction with the Tendon and Bone Treatment given as a feed supplement.
Human athletes, and rheumatism and arthritis sufferers, find Hoof Oil extremely helpful to speed recovery from injury, to improve comfort and reduce inflammation. It is also being used as a precautionary measure by professional athletes in endurance and contact sports to enhance ligament and joint health, strength and elasticity.
