Am I Ready Now for Death?


Who is this program designed for?

By its nature AmIReadyNow for Death is a program prepared for those who are in control of their faculties and not for those suffering dementia or the affects of severe accident trauma, stroke or already on life support.

However, it chould be great assistance to those family members or carers, responsible for supporting those who are in the situations above. The insights and information provided will give you a great deal of guidance and help in assisting those you love.

Probably also, our target client is somewhat computer literate. We hope that those with few computer or keyboard skills can still find their way, with a little help, through the information contained in the program and make use of the facilities we provide.

To some extent also, it is directed more toward those who have rather more suddenly to come to terms with their own impending death. A large number of these, will be cancer patients and, as an eye opener, it could be useful to look at the following alternative medical view on understanding cancer.

Agenda, Output and Feedback:

AmIReadyNow has no sectarian agenda. For the well prepared and the well supported, it may provide nothing more than a private and personal checklist and maybe help to fill in a few gaps. For others, we hope to provide a great deal of assistance in their Spiritual, Family, Legal, Physical and Medical preparedness.

The program will compile for you, if you wish, a range of draft documents, both legal and personal, which will assist you to order your affairs.

Those legal documents such as powers of attorney or Will forms are not meant to replace instruments you already have in place if you are already happy with them. However you may wish to use them or the ideas they contain to review or update existing instructions. In every country, legal requirements differ, and you should be aware that any legal documents or forms we provide, which you decide to use for your own affairs, should be reviewed by a competent lawyer familiar with your own legal system.

The personal documents we offer are unique in our view in that they allow you to express a whole range of preferences and to deliver a whole range of instructions to those you trust to help you toward the end of your life.

We hope that some of you will take the time to provide feedback in the form of insights and experiences or resources and links, which we can use to improve our service for others.

If you wish to proceed, you will need a calm and peaceful space to participate in this guided assessment and you will need to be able to print out drafts of several documents.

What does it cost?

You will need a Credit Card to pay our once only fee of US$10.00 to access the program and to register your user name and password. How often may I revisit the program?

The program is very large and covers so many issues that you will probably wish to take it in over several separate sessions.

Once registered, you may revisit the program as often as you wish as you work through different aspects of your preparedness.

This will allow you to follow up on some of the links we provide and to review and revise your documentation as often as you wish.

Privacy:

The username we issue upon registration is unique and unchangeable. The password we issue however, to access your files can be changed at will, and we suggest you personalise this as soon as possible to maintain your privacy.

We want to stress that all of your personal details will be held absolutely confidential, never to be used by AmIReadyNow for any purpose whatsoever.

The program is designed to provide you with forms which you can fill in either on-line to be saved as a draft under the protection of your own password for later review, or off-line to be saved on your own computer if you wish.

For your further security we offer an "erase file" button which you can access after printing out whatever forms you wish at any time.

Please be aware however that if you do chose to erase your file, we cannot offer further access to the program without re-subscribing. Neither can we restore your file information even if you should wish us to.
