IS THERE A HERBAL TREATMENT FOR CAPPED HOCKS?

The windgall/ capped hock mix I make up seems to be universally successful in dissipating the fluid, which shows up in the hock. If you are certain of the reason for the fluid, i.e. a kick.

If the capped hocks show up on both sides it is more likely there is some sort of ligament or bone injury or weakness, which is not resolving itself somehow and it can be an indication of a long standing condition.

My recommendation as a herbalist would be to place the horse on a course of Tendon and Bone Healing treatment, which can be found at:
    http://www.herbal-treatments.com/horse_tendon_bone_healing.html

As well as using the Capped Hocks treatment, found at:
    http://www.herbal-treatments.com/horse_windgalls_capped_hocks.html

And you may like to include massage.

I hope that I have helped to answer your question.
